Available Resources and Equipment:
Sphero Mini, Wonder Workshop Cues, Ozobots, Snap Circuits, Makey Makey, 3D Pens and 3D Printer, Lenovo VR, Microeye Microscope, Fischer Scientific Microscopes, LEGOs, Brain Flakes, Magnetic Blocks, Zoobz, K’Nex, Kinetic Sand, Rock Samples, Scales and Balances, Hot Plates, Chemicals, and more!
Some of our favorites are...
Ozobots: A window into the future of robots. It enables and empowers students to code in every classroom. It creates a door into programming.
Snap Circuits® teaches basic engineering, electronics and circuitry concepts by using building components with snaps to assemble electronic circuits on a simple “rows-and-columns” base grid. The resulting projects function like the printed circuit board found in most electronic products.
Sphero provides a STEAM-based tool set unbounded in its potential. Sphero uses programmable robots and STEM kits to foster students’ creativity through discovery and play while laying the foundation for computer science and other STEM fundamentals.
The award-winning Cue robot is designed for kids who have an interest in coding. Cue will help them transition from block-based code to state-machine and text-based programming.
Makey Makey: Start out easy with a banana piano... then create game controllers, invent musical instruments, make voting machines, and light up paper circuits. Connect Makey Makey to the world around you, and the possibilities are endless!
