Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central North Carolina: enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. 919-690-0036
Bridges of Hope Outreach: provides year round afterschool and summer tutorial programs to youth in Franklin County to learn life skills, health and wellness. 919-494-2826
Franklin County Schools: to be an innovative school system committed to excellence for all. This year the United Way will double the amount of teacher grants provided to the schools in addition to providing school supplies and many other services to the schools. 919-496-2600
NC Literacy Corp: We have partnered with NC Literacy and Boys & Girls Club to bring a Literacy Program to Franklin County.
Franklin County Department of Social Services: serves the community through the effective delivery of family-centered services, which will promote and achieve self-sufficiency and enhance the quality of life for its entire people. The Care and Share Program provides supplemental and emergency food assistance to Franklin County residents. Happy Camper provides financial assistance to Franklin County youth who would otherwise be unable to attend camp. 919-496-8103
Legal Aid of North Carolina: provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income individuals in order to ensure equal access to justice and remove legal barriers to economic opportunity. 919-686-6396
