The United Way of Franklin County is a private, non-profit organization serving the citizens of Franklin County. First organized in 1994, United Way of Franklin County is governed by a local board of directors made up of 23 members and employs an executive director who conducts the annual campaign, supports volunteers and oversees finances.Volunteers are at the very heart of the organization and are key to the accomplishment of agency goals. More than 200 volunteers help the UWFC reach its goals and carry out its mission.

To unite people and resources to build a strong community network focused on improving the quality of life by effectively addressing the health, social service and educational needs of the people of Franklin County.

The campaign for 2011-12 has now raised more than $131,000 - surpassing the $125,000 goal. With the incredible help from Franklin County residents, small businesses, corporations and volunteers. Thanks to all who are making this a successful campaign!
