of Franklin County

The United Way of Franklin County is a private, non-profit organization serving the citizens of Franklin County. First organized in 1994, United Way of Franklin County is governed by a local board of directors made up of 23 members and employs an executive director who conducts the annual campaign, supports volunteers and oversees finances.Volunteers are at the very heart of the organization and are key to the accomplishment of agency goals. More than 200 volunteers help the UWFC reach its goals and carry out its mission.

To unite people and resources to build a strong community network focused on improving the quality of life by effectively addressing the health, social service and educational needs of the people of Franklin County.

GOAL EXCEEDED!!!!

THANK YOU FRANKLIN COUNTY

The 2012-13 UWFC goal of $130,000 has been exceeded. The grand total will be announced on March 21 at the UWFC Communitywide Breakfast Celebration at Louisburg College's auditorium, 8 a.m. breakfast, 9 a.m. program.

Wayne Stallings Volunteer of the Year Award to be Presented

Volunteers and supporters will be recognized, and there will be an overview of the campaign.

All local contributions (100 percent) go to support the non-profits of Franklin County and give programs direct funding for the hungry, the isolated, the elderly and those needing support to make a better community for all of us.
